The Institute of Mathematics and Physics provides lectures in mathematical and physical subjects, which set the theoretical background for the study of other subjects in Engineering. Fellows of the Institute give lectures, seminars and tutorials in all study programs of the Faculty. Mathematical subjects cover mathematical analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, probability calculus and statistics, discrete structures and numerical mathematics. Subjects in Physics cover the topics in classical and modern physics.
